Rob Greig, Chief Information Officer, Arup

Rob Greig is Arup’s Chief Information Officer (CIO), having joined from the UK Parliament where he led the Parliamentary Digital Service through a period of significant digital transformation, also leading a major cyber security programme and the response to the 2017 cyber-attack on the UK Parliament. A Fellow and chartered professional of the British Computer Society, his previous roles include Chief Technology Officer of the Royal Opera House where he founded World Ballet Day, a digital celebration of dance on a global scale. Rob is a cultural fellow for Kings College London and volunteers as a non-executive director for arts and not profit organisations in the UK and overseas. Rob has an MBA and degree in computing and is a champion of diversity and inclusion in the digital technology sector.
